This Hipshot® Directrofit™ kit is one of the easiest ways to get more out of your Fender® guitar as it fits directly into the two-pin mounting system of the Fender® American Standard. The only tool needed to install these tuners is a 10mm wrench. The pegs are sold in sets of 6 in line.

It can be mounted either on the top side of the headstock, in the traditional Fender style, or on inverted headstock models.

The Grip-Lock™ feature locks the string by turning the rear thumbwheel, for quick stringing and tuning stability superior to traditional pegs. With this locking system, there is no need to wind the string around the post; we simply lock, and turn the knob until the desired note is reached. This tuners features staggered posts so that the strings reach them at the proper angle to keep the tension. It uses two 21mm tuners for the sixth and fifth strings, two 20mm tuners for the fourth and third strings, and two 19mm tuners for the second and first strings. A 21:1 tuning ratio makes it easy to set the precise pitch without overdoing it.
