This set of precut Hosco fretwire is manufactured in Japan from phosphor bronze, a material valued for its bright tone, firm feel and excellent resistance to wear. It is an outstanding option for electric guitars where greater attack, clarity and mechanical stability are desired.

Each fret is cut according to the actual dimensions of a standard fingerboard: 43 mm at the nut and 53 mm at the 12th fret, with an additional 0.5 mm of extra length. This provides the necessary margin for secure seating and for trimming the ends flush after leveling, without having to cut from continuous wire.

The Medium Jumbo profile delivers a wide and stable feel under the fingers. With a crown height of 1.0 mm and a crown width of 2.7 mm, these frets respond beautifully to bending and vibrato, maintaining both clarity and control. The 10" radius matches many modern electric fingerboards.

The set includes 24 precut frets, enough for 22-fret guitars with spare pieces for adjustments. A robust and precise option with the warm, defined character typical of phosphor bronze.
