Aparicio Classical Guitar Machine Head Cuenca Model 24K Gold/Ivory

The Aparicio Classical Guitar Machine Head Córdoba Model  24K Matte Gold/Ivory is made of solid brass (plate, crown and worm screw), the plate and crown are 24 carat gold plated and then lacquered to protect the finish and extend its life, and presents a stark and elegant design. In the words of its creators: "The design of intertwined squares captures the essence of the hanging houses that define this city".

These knobs with the Aparicio tuning pegs are made in Spain, in Valencia. For this purpose, an enameled and polished polymer with a high resistance ivory effect has been used. Thanks to this innovative material, it is possible to improve the hardness of the knobs to avoid undesirable loosening over time.

In addition, these tuning pegs are equipped with a ball bearing at the end of the post to ensure smooth rotation in the headstock housing. This feature, normally found only on high-end tuning pegs, reduces friction and eliminates tuning problems. 

The precision and feel when turning the knobs is outstanding, the result of the development of the tooling, the meticulous work and the passion for a perfect fit for the musician.

In terms of finishes, Clavijeros Aparicio stands out from the rest of the proposals in the market, since starting from a solid block of brass, unique pieces are obtained, very different from those obtained by stamping or molding. Each piece is handcrafted, which makes it possible to obtain in each of them the characteristic craftsmanship seal of the company.

These tuning pegs, used by prestigious luthiers, are available only at Maderas Barber and in limited quantities.
