Used to the feel of the electric guitar? Choose one of the Light or Extra Light gauges and the transition will be easier. If you're used to the tighter feel needed for flatpicking, you won't go wrong by choosing a Medium or Medium Light gauge.

80/20 Bronze... ¿What does it mean?

Nothing too complex, you'll see now. That numerical code only refers to the ratio of copper in the alloy of the string. The 80 is the percentage of bronze present in this case. Strings with this composition have been in use since the 30's, so they can hardly be considered newcomers. They have a characteristic bright sound, although unlike the other more common phosphor/bronze formulation they have a shorter lifespan.
