The Dunlop Phosphor Bronze line of guitar strings is one of the many options for acoustic guitars that we offer at Maderas Barber. This alloy is considered to be responsible for preserving the characteristic sound of the guitar to the maximum, without adding too much bass or brightness. You can find four different gauges so that you can choose the one that best suits your playing style. Used to the feel of the electric guitar? Choose one of the Light or Extra Light gauges and the transition will be easier. If you're used to the firmer feel needed for flatpicking, you won't go wrong by choosing a thickness like Medium or Medium Light. Not to mention a set of 12 strings for the folkiest among our customers.

Phosphor bronze... ¿What does it mean?

Nothing too complex, you'll see. It just refers to the alloy from which the strings are made. In this case, 92% bronze along with other small amounts of zinc and phosphorus. Developed in the '70s, they have a longer lifespan than those of 80/20 alloy, as well as a more natural sound and greater resistance to corrosion by sweat.
