Overview of the Japanese Fret Saw Hosco TL-H-FSW057

Traditional Japanese fret groove saw for cutting fret slots. It features a tooth spacing of 1.25mm to accurately cut 0.57mm wide fret slots in even the hardest woods, the Japanese saw cuts by pulling the saw backwards, traction cutting. This type of cutting significantly reduces effort and prevents flexing of the blade, giving you much more control and a faster, more accurate cut than with European hand saws. This saw has a 120mm blade length and a 180mm handle. Like all Hosco fret saws, the TL-H-FSW057 is the perfect companion to the Hosco fret grooving guide.
