Fret Leveling Beam 60cm

Leveling beam made from 2mm brushed aluminium with a 50 × 25mm cross-section and a length of 60cm. The longest beam in this range, it is particularly suited to electric bass necks, where it covers large sections of the fret area in each pass with a reliable flat reference. Supplied with protective end caps.

The beam has four flat, straight faces, allowing sandpaper to be attached with double-sided tape or self-adhesive abrasive in different grits simultaneously. The 2mm brushed aluminium provides steel-equivalent rigidity without rusting, at a weight of 470g that keeps the beam stable during use.

Corners are straight but not sharp thanks to the brushed finish, allowing work close to fretboard edges without damaging binding or neck finish. One face can be left clear of abrasive to serve as a flat reference surface alongside a router.
