Overview Bass Drone Stock / Blowpipe Mopane Galician Bagpipe 170x35x35 mm:

In Maderas Barber we have available all the necessary sizes to build your Galician bagpipe. Pieces of this size are used to build the Blowpipe of the bagpipe, the piece through which the piper blows and introduces the air into the bag, or for the stock of the bass drone, the part where this last part of the bagpipe is attached to the bag.

Campinceran is a member of the Dalbergia family, and like many of them (cocobolo, Rosewood, kingwood...) shares qualities such as hardness, ease of turning, a great natural shine due to the oils present in the wood, very striking patterns especially when plain sawn. In the case of the Campinceran we are also talking about a very hard and dense wood, with colors ranging from reddish brown to a dark brown with violet undertones. A wood, furthermore, that you will not be able to acquire practically anywhere else but at Maderas Barber.

Features:

  • Dimensions: 190x40x40 mm
  • Botanical name: Colophospermum mopane
  • Origin: South Africa
  • Density: 1075 Kg/m3
