Overview African Mahogany Unfinished Electric Bass Body PB Style MB Exclusive:

The African Mahogany Unfinished Electric Bass Body PB Style MB Exclusive is made in Spain and it is a faithful recreation of the legendary Fender™ PB™ model. This body has been pre-routed with the usual split coil pickup configuration and is designed to use a 5-screw bridge.

The body of this bass has all the necessary routings for the electronics and hardware. The holes for the neck and bridge screws have already been drilled.

Finished with 120 grit sandpaper. The body has been sanded to remove the most obvious marks from the cutting and routing process, but it will always be necessary to sand with finer grit sandpaper before any finishing.

African mahogany can range in color from pale pink to orange or light brown. It works well, regardless of whether we are talking about sawing, planing, gluing, staining, etc., although sometimes it's hard to sand due to its interlocked grain. It has a very open pore, which makes it essential to use a filler.

Because each piece of wood is unique, you may receive a body whose appearance differs from the one shown in the photo, be it in color, tone, grain distribution, etc. To help you, Maderas Barber offers a Photo Purchase service that will allow you to choose exactly the piece you want.

Routed for split-coil configuration.

Pickguard screw holes are NOT drilled.

5-bolt bridge assembly.

Electronics cavity routed.

Prepared for 4-screws necks.
