The Honduras Cedar + Indian Rosewood headplate Finished Classical Guitar has a Hauser-style headstock (itself a copy of the ones Antonio de Torres did) and a 650mm scale length, the most common for classical guitars, and is designed to work perfectly in conjunction with any of our finished fretboards. Antonio de Torres is considered the father of the modern classical guitar and one of the best guitar luthiers in history. It was he who established the measurements and forms of construction of the instrument in the mid-nineteenth century and who established a school from which the following masters such as Hauser, Ramirez or Santos Hernandez borrowed. This neck is ideal if you want to avoid the work of building the neck of your guitar from scratch or you don't have the necessary tools. The headstock, in addition to the upper piece of Indian Rosewood, has black/white veneers underneath, and has a straight access ramp to the strings, as opposed to the usual rounded shape.

After the CNC machining process, any uneven surfaces or loose fibres are carefully removed from the piece. Even so, a light sanding is always necessary prior to the lacquering stage.
