This Finished Lute Neck neck is made of African Mahogany with a Mexican Granadillo headplate and has a scale length of 500mm. The heel is constructed from several pieces to reduce chances of wood cracks. 

After the CNC machining process, any loose uneven surfaces or loose fibres are carefully removed from the piece. Even so, a light sanding is always necessary prior to the lacquering stage.
