This Finished Lute Neck neck is made of Cedar with a Santos Rosewood headplate and has a scale length of 500mm. The heel is constructed from several pieces to reduce chances of wood cracks. An ebony strip in the center of the piece reinforces the neck and prevents any future deformation caused by string tension. This is the lightest of the two necks we offer.

After the CNC machining process, any loose uneven surfaces or loose fibres are carefully removed from the piece. Even so, a light sanding is always necessary prior to the lacquering stage.
