Gotoh Classical Guitar Tuners KG01CA/M-XG

KO-GA is a traditional Japanese term meaning outstanding elegance.
Gotoh has carefully revised the structure of traditional classical tuners and designed a new bearing structure that achieves greater concentricity and improves durability.
The KG01-CA also takes advantage of a unique carbon fiber material pattern to become a new concept, a neoclassical tuner. KO-GA is the beginning of a new era of exceptional guitar hardware, free from the constraints of convention.

The shaft of this classical guitar tuning machine has a solid aluminium roller with a bearing that prevents the tuning post from rubbing against the holes in the head of the guitar.

The ratio between the knob and the gear is 1:16, ensuring great precision when tuning. In addition, the knobs can be adjusted with a small spanner, which is included with each pegbox, to achieve the desired torque.  This tuning machine is one of the lightest on the market, weighing 70g less than a conventional tuning machine.

 Gotoh gears of the "510" and "X" series are treated with "Lubri-Plate" to achieve a permanent lubrication of the parts without affecting their function and durability.
