Fantastic set of 4 Arkansas whetstones for sharpening chisels and cutting tools. Arkansas whetstones are extracted from the Ouachita Mountains, and are famous throughout the world for their great qualities. These stones are made of novaculite, a microcrystalline siliceous stone known for millennia and used for arrowheads. These stones are substantially better than the composite sharpening stones used today. We are sure that if you try one of these stones you will be amazed at the degree of sharpness you can achieve. Although both water and oil can be used, almost everyone who uses them prefers the latter. You can use our Pfeil sharpening oil.
