Precision jig for assembling single-coil pickups for Precision Bass. Designed to align the flatwork pieces and insert cylindrical magnets accurately for pickups with 29.5 mm string spacing.

Compatible with shop presses or drill presses, this jig is made from clear plexiglass to ensure full visibility during the process. The set includes all components needed for a safe, fast and accurate assembly.

Jig Components

• Buffer: Holds the outer 5 mm magnets in position while inserting into the bottom flatwork. Keeps your fingers out of the way and ensures straight alignment.
• 10 mm Spacer: Four-piece guide that fits over the outer magnets and positions the inner magnets. Easily removed after pressing the top flatwork.
• 3 mm Spacer: Two-piece spacer that sets the height between top and bottom flatwork. Can be sanded or used as a template for custom spacing.
• Top Press: Aligns over the magnets to press the top flatwork. Its 5 mm thickness allows even pressure, including for staggered configurations.
