The HF-S3-P24 model by Hosco is specially designed for refret work. Made in Japan from 18% Nickel-Silver (Alpaca), it features HV200 hardness and a tang width adapted to slightly widened slots from previous fret removals.

The tang measures 0.95 mm (including barbs), ensuring a tight fit even when the original slot has expanded. The crown is 2.1 mm (0.083") wide and 1.0 mm (0.039") tall. Each fret is pre-cut to 70 mm (2.76") and pre-radiused to 12". Not undercut for binding.

Sold in a set of 24 pieces, ideal for a full fretboard plus spare. A great choice for precise repair and restoration work.
