• Description: The Sapele when is recently cut is a pink and after exposure to the sun gets its unique reddish-brown color. Its density is 650 Kg/ m³, the fiber is interlocked and the grain varies from fine to medium. The sawing and the mechanization of this wood doesn’t present difficulties. The drying rate is normal, but precautions must be taken in the drying process so that deformations do not occur.

  Sapelli wood has a bright sound, with a general tone similar to rock maple, but warmer.
  Sapelli's tonal output is coherent and balanced, so it is compatible with a wide range of musical styles.
