ORIGIN: Asia
DESCRIPTION: Its density is 1000-1300 kg/m3. The heartwood is white, the narrow hardwood is black/dark brown with streaks of different shades but mainly olive green.
RECOMMENDATIONS: It is a wood that can produce dermatitis, it is advisable to store at a suitable temperature to prevent breakage.
USE: It is mainly used for the manufacture of backs and sides, but due to its properties, it is also used in fingerboards, bridges and blades.
