Santos Rosewood (Machaerium scleroxylon) is a dense and highly stable tonewood valued for its warm colour, expressive figured grain and clean machining behaviour. It handles detailed inlays and precise contours well and responds beautifully to transparent or lightly tinted finishes.

With a thickness of 3.5 mm and dimensions of 220/200 × 90 mm (8-11/16"/7-7/8" × 3-9/16" × 9/64"), these headplates are suitable for electric guitars, basses, classical and acoustic guitars, archtop instruments and other designs requiring a dense, stable and visually distinctive headstock overlay.
