Pfeil D 9/5 Initiation Gouge

  Bowl gouges have the largest curvature (not making any angle as the V form gouges do). Their profile are not only curved but they make a U shape. Their use are less common than the lower curvature gouges, but they present interesting practical uses thanks to the several range of sizes that Pfeil offers to us. For instance, they can be used for cutting curved lines and detail components like human hair. The initation version has a shorter size, making costs cheaper and use easier, but also making its durability shorter.
  The Pfeil D series gouges have a lower length from the rest of the Pfeil gouges, both the handle and the steel blade have a lower length from the professional gouges. Its lower size makes them specially designed for initiation in wood carving and small hand people.
  However, production and material quality are the same as the professional gouges.
