Black Candy Vitamin Q 0.022uF tone capacitor for guitar and bass tone circuits. Flat "pickup style" construction. Good for low headroom cavities. These new production capacitors use oil-soaked paper like the old ones, are well damped and have a very smooth and natural sound.

These capacitors are a remake of the old non-inductive paper and oil capacitors from the 1950's. They use oil soaked paper as a dielectric and are therefore very smooth and natural sounding. They are commonly used to enhance the more vintage tone in high quality pickups, especially humbuckers.
