Exotic ebony grading:

Surprisingly, in the A grade, contrary to the rest of the ordinary ebony pieces, we will find the pieces with the most uniform color, either completely black or one of the many yellow-pinkish shades that exotic ebony presents. Generally the drawing, pattern or weave will be aesthetically unremarkable and without much variation.
