ORIGIN: Europe

DESCRIPTION: It is very popular in Europe and it has a density of 690 Kg/m3. It has a light color, a straight fiber and a fine grain. It presents a greater resistance than the Oak despite of having a less density.

RECOMMENDATIONS: Overall, it is easy to work with both hand and machine tools. Turns, glues, and it finishes well.

USE: It is used for lathe and carving.
