General Description of the Nowland kerfing clamps:

Interior bracing clamps are an essential tool for any luthier or instrument builder who needs to quickly and accurately attach kerfing (also called bracing or chainplate) to the sides. Designed by Joel Nowland of Nowland Guitars, these clamps are simple, yet highly effective.

Each clamp provides the perfect amount of pressure to the kerfing and is designed to provide two nearly equal points of pressure on the kerfing. Unlike traditional clamps that only provide one pressure point, these clamps ensure even pressure throughout the reinforcement. They work perfectly with any type of chain stitch, including hard-to-grip triangular kerfing.

Each bag contains 10 clamps and typically one clamp is needed for every three centimeters of kerfing. These clamps are an excellent investment for any luthier or instrument builder who wants to secure kerfing effectively and accurately, saving time and avoiding mistakes during the construction process.
